NABA's success is its ability to develop and encourage professional potential and growth of our members. "Lifting As We Climb" is our motto and standard. The Association assists its members in realizing their personal, professional and economic potential through a combination of professional and personal education, leadership training, and access to professional and social networks. Through our Accounting Awareness programs for high school students, and out student membership for college and university attendees interested in the accounting or finance industry we are recruiting and developing a new pool of professionals. Members with skills and abilities to be a vital contributor of a organization they are apart of. Membership in and affiliation with, our association will give you a direct link to today's and tomorrow's business leaders, as well as access to opportunities for growth.
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
NABA represents the largest pool of African-Americans in the accounting and finance industry in the nation. NABA members work in various management and expertise levels across the broad spectrum of accounting and finance specialties. These include Accountants, Auditors, Consultants, Chief Financial Officers, Financial Analyst, Financial Advisors, Managers, Directors, and Educators just to name a few. As entry-level staff, senior executives and entrepreneurs, NABA members represent a driving force behind many corporate, governmental and educational institutions.
STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
Student members are members who currently are enrolled at an institution of higher learning and are incorporated into student chapters. Each student chapter is affiliated with a professional chapter, to ensure that students within that chapter are being provided with the most resources that NABA has to offer. These resources include but not limited to business, professional,or academic development, increasing networking & mentoring opportunities, career opportunities, and an On-line career center. There also are different conferences and workshops student members have access to.
